Day 1: from Kampala Capital City – Lake Mburo National Park
Pick up from you hotel in the Early morning, leave Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park which takes about 3 hour drive. You will make a stop at the equator for photographs and then proceed to Mbarara for lunch.
After lunch, drive to Lake Mburo National Park; check in to your accommodation. Later an evening game drive 4:30pm to search for animals such as the Eland, Topis, Impalas, zebras and many more with a chance to see some colorful beautiful birds in the evening fly to their resting places. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight at Mihingo safari Lodge/Lake Mburo Safari Lodge/Eagles Nest.
Day 2: Nature walk and boat trip on Lake Mburo National Park
Your breakfast will be served at 07:00am before you leave for a nature walks to the different areas of interest like the Nakivale wetland which is associated with fresh water and plains of seasonal floods which are permanent, this is an opportunity to see some animals as they graze and go back to their hiding places, this include Hippopotamus, Buffalos, antelopes, Common Warthog, Bushbuck and many more that are around the swamp drinking water.
You will return back to the camp for traditionally prepared delicious lunch then take a boat ride on the lake where different species of plants, animals in water bucks crocodiles, birds including the rare shoebill, crested crane, pelicans, fish eagle, heron and many water birds and many more are seen clearly when on boat trips. Have Dinner and overnight at Mihingo safari Lodge/Lake Mburo Safari Lodge/Eagles Nest.
Day 3: Wildlife Game Viewing and Return to Kampala
Have breakfast and go for an early morning game drive through the Park. You will be able to see animals like Olive Baboon, Vervet Monkeys, Yellow- winged Bat, Side striped jackal, Dwarf and Banded Mongooses, Common Zebra, Hippopotamus, Common Warthog, Buffalo, Bushbuck, Oribi, Deffassa Waterbuck and Bohor Reedbuck and many more mammals. In the afternoon drive back to Kampala.
