The 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which is located in south western Uganda. The flights to Bwindi National Park are 2, morning and afternoon flight depending on which you will take. The 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour offers you an amazing experience in one of the 19 habituated mountain gorilla groups. Besides the Gorillas, you will also have an opportunity to see other primates such as the red-tailed monkeys, chimpanzees, baboons, black and white colobus monkeys among others.
Day 1 Flight Transfer from Entebbe to Kihihi Airstrip Bwindi National Park
Pickup from your hotel at 6; 00hrs by our driver guide who will brief you on your 3 days flying gorilla trekking safari in Uganda after then he will transfer you to Entebbe airport/kajjansi air strip for your morning flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with Aero link which takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes, that provides quality, beautiful scenery along the way and safe flights within Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in southwestern Uganda. Upon your arrival to Kihihi air strip you will meant with our driver guide who will transfer you to lodge for relaxation which takes about 40 minutes drive. Relax as you prepare for gorilla trekking on the following day. Dinner and overnight Gorilla at Forest Camp/Engagi Lodge/Buhoma Community Camp ground.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
The anticipated Bwindi gorilla trekking day–today you meet the gentle giants of the Virunga Mountains. After breakfast, proceed for the morning briefing before enjoying the highlight of the trip- Gorilla trekking, which may last the entire day. We trek through the rainforest and bamboo covered slopes, accompanied by a guide and trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family.
The walking can sometimes be tough and long, but when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, any discomforts will be quickly forgotten. When sighted, visitors will be guided to within 6 meters from the gorillas, sit around them for a whole hour while gazing into their big round eyes and then after back to the Park headquarter. There after you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and thus contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas.
Later in afternoon, you will take village walk which will offers you a great chance to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The walk begins with your tour guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and who is resourceful about the community, the walk is worthy while. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways and it also a great way to support the local community in a direct way. Day 3: Depart from the Gorilla Tracking safari tour
Early breakfast before embarking on our return to Kampala, your driver guide will transfer you in time to the airfield Kihihi to catch your morning or afternoon flight back to Entebbe/Kampala.
